We released a vibe coding tool that knows backend.
Convex ChefCook with Chef. Generate and launch realtime full-stack apps.
Register nowDeploy and share your Chef app link (chef.show or chef.app) on X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, or Reddit. Show us what you built. Tag us @convex_dev on X.
Participants must be 18 years or older. Employees of Convex and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
All submissions must be made by the deadline. Projects should be original and not violate any intellectual property rights.
Your app will be reviewed by the Convex team based on three things: creativity and execution in your selected category, overall quality and engagement (including likes, shares, comments), and virality and buzz across social platforms. There are two category winners and then one overall winner. Winners will be announced on April 24th!
Winners will receive cash prizes, Convex credits, and Convex swag. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other items.
No, as long as you share your original Chef deploy or share link (like chef.app or chef.show) in the submission form, you qualify.
Yes, an ideal workflow is to start by prompting Chef. Make any edits right in Chef, then deploy your app. Be sure to include your deploy or share link in the submission form so we know you used Chef to start. After that, download your code and finish your app using Cursor, Windsurf, or any IDE you like. When you're done, share it with the world and submit.
Yes! Build as many apps as you want with Chef and submit them all. Keep cooking.
Nope. You can just submit your deployed app using your chef.app link. We know you might use another IDE to keep building after Chef. If you share a chef.show link, we'll be able to view your app and the code you started with.
